yeah, I’ve talked to a few people who sailed Ruby from here and said it was nothing like that.

Yep, sailed Ruby out of Galveston in March. Dropped off at 1045 & on the ship by 11.

Easiest embarkation I've had at ANY port.

(Not trying to rub it in...😉 We sail NCL out of Galveston next month & I was raving to DH about how easy it was...I'll temper my enthusiasm)

Completely unpacked. It’s all in those cabinets. Bathroom shelves are full. Coke zeroes chilling in fridge. Got my pen, bourbon vouchers signed. Let’s go explore!

Pretty sure that closet is bigger than some NYC apartments.

I like the hallway art of people’s photos from various ports and ships

Nice to see they're still doing that. Been a couple years since I've been on Princess, but I enjoyed those; always made me think about where else I could go.

I don’t recall ever having a problem getting a drink out of Galveston on embarkation day.   If that’s a regularity on Princess, that’s another reason not to sail on them.

I saw three bars open. Mermaid’s Tail, Outrigger, and Good Spirits. All with the limited Texas menu. Not sure if I missed anything.

What an exceptionally strange battle to fight

If you don’t have to sign for anything, then it’s a battle everyone has to fight if they’re paying attention.  That’s just wrong for anyone to have to do.  I wonder how much extra money they make on people who don’t pay attention.

I just don’t get the arguing with me over one beer and basically calling me a liar. That doesn’t sit well with me.
