Hello

We have a 14-days Alaska cruise from Vancouver on board of Sapphire Princess starting August 31st 2024.

We go to Whitter and back. I want to mention thast it is one cruise and not B2B 7-days cruises.

The question is that if we need to take some actions in Whitter like changing the medallion application from one 7 days to the next 7 days.

We need to have the shore excursion starting (private) at 10:30 a.m. and if we have enough time to take it?

Please clarify.

Best regards

Alexander

From what I see on the Princess site the Sapphire arrives in Whitter at 12:30am just after midnight and departs at 8:30pm. There is certainly enough time to handle a tour. The later sailing time allows passengers that are on Princess pre-cruise multi day land tours to reach the ship before it sails south to Vancouver. Regarding the cruise itself while you have probably booked it as a 14 day cruise with a single booking number in reality it is two 7 day voyages b2b. You will clear U.S. immigration/Customs in Vancouver when boarding. On arrival in Whitter there will be no further processing. Whitter can be treated as any other port day. Your onboard account will roll over, and there will be one billing on your disembarkation day. Expect for the most part that menus and shows will repeat, although there may be some different guest entertainers. You will have the luxury to be able to see most of the shows and entertainers over the two week period.

Your medallions will be active for all 14 days. Nothing needs to be done.

If your cruise is truly a full 14 days and not a B2B then you do not need to anything in regards to the app.

We want to order from https://phillipscruises.com/ the tour Glacier Quest Cruise. If somebody knows abot this company?

Great company. I have done their 26 glacier cruise and it was excellent.

There is very little to do in Whittier and this company has a solid reputation.

We did a 14 day Alaska cruise from Vancouver that was very similar to yours. It was sold as 2 7 days or a 14 day. There was a meeting in the theater for those doing the full 14. We were off hiking around We waited for the crowds to disembark, then went hiking around Whittier

Nothing you need to do on the app. Everything should roll over except maybe for casino winnings. To be safe if you have a positive balance after the first 7 days I would cash out
