Prima Haven question

From the deck plans it looks like there are no stairs near the Haven elevators.  We like to use the stairs at times but no problem if there are none, just wondering.  Also we have a room booked under the Haven restaurant.  We have never had an issue with noise under the restaurant but just checking.  Thanks

I just got off the Pr1ma on Friday (insert sad face here). The stairs are not near the Haven elevators. You'll need to exit the Haven to use the stairs. Each deck that has Haven rooms/Haven amenities (except 17) also has a door that enters into the other areas of the ship. The stairs are around the corner of these doors. You'll then use the aft stairs to navigate the ship.

We appreciate using the stairs also and found that we used them less on Pr1ma due to this design feature (flaw in my mind).

Note that is a big, wide door.  Coming back into Haven it isn't super well marked.

Cruise, did you have the ghost sink in the outer sink area by Haven restaurant where water would just randomly start running?

It is a giant and very heavy door. We could open it as we're younger and in ok shape. I could absolutely see where the elderly may have issues with the deck 16 Haven door. The doors on deck 15, 14, 13 all opened via keycard so were much easier to maneuver.

Haha no ghost sink! That sounds odd though. The bathroom on the left of the hallway as you enter the Haven Restaurant was out of order for much of the last half of the cruise though.

Should also mention there are a ton of picture books in the lounge and we even had many in the room.

Yes there are! We didn't actually take a peek at any, but they would definitely entertain for a bit.

I found that navigating the ship to get to the Haven on Prima was much more challenging than on other NCL ships.  If you're not taking the dedicated elevators there's not an easy way to get there.

Thankfully we found the doors pretty quickly, like day 2 of our cruise. If you don't find the doors, then you're basically using the elevators the entire time! Even just to get from your room to the Haven Lounge/Restaurant area. It's an odd design, definitely made for those that are stair-averse. We were really happy (and remarked on it to each other) to find the doors in and out.
