This is a cruise programme definitely worth watching on Channel 4.  It was actually on last night so you'll need to watch online now.

The ship is MSC World Europa and behind the scenes shows it being built in France from scratch.

I watched the programme and it is incredible how they are built, but that's only three years of the story and you can't tell much of three years in a short documentary.

 

A detailed look at all the design work leading to the first day of build would be interesting.

what they covered was interesting but it was so short to be just crammed into 1 40ish minute program. The ships talk from first officer on Arviva this year on how it was built went into more detail and there are quite a few design differences between the lines...
