The Spirit will, when it finishes the season Down Under it will be taking the place of the Jewel based in the Far East.

Be prepared for a massive change in the officers as NCL will "need" more of them to be from Asia.

I am aware of that and plan to post the changes at that time but feel free to do so instead. We have been onboard since Christmas (lucky us)

Assistant cruise director is a very fun and active guy named Alex. Going on the Getaway soon and should be fun.

If you're able to find out any info on the Haven staff (concierge & bartenders) that would be amazing. We'll be onboard in <30 days. Hoping to see some familiar names.

Clearly this is important to some of you. How do you use the information?

Not a huge deal breaker, but if you see a familiar name or face that you've had good experiences with in the past, it's a sigh of relief to know your trip will have a better chance of being extra good. I don't put too much clout into the officers so much as some of the bartenders. We each have our own priorities. But if I see a name I remember it gets me more excited knowing we'll have a blast rather than having a 'break in' period for a newer name that doesn't know how we like to party yet.

I appreciate your sharing. We'll be on in 5 weeks and while it really doesn't matter, it's always fun to see familiar names.
