When to book show reservations

Recommended Posts

Hi All. I have questions that I know I have read on here in the past but can not seem to find the answers to. We are sailing on Symphony in June.

How far in advance (days) should we book our shows and entertainment?

We already booked the refreshment package and our dining times.

On the app I see when to check in and that date is on our calendar.

What else am I forgetting?

Thank you so much!

Subscribe to the roll call.  Someone will update the thread when reservations open up.  You want to reserve ASAP.  However, there will be a standby line and you'll usually be able to get in.

Don't sweat the Aqua Theater shows.  Just walk all the way rear on Deck 7 and exit the doors.  Easy.

Look for reservations to open up round about the 1st of May

No set date, which is kind of annoying.  Could be anywhere from 30 to 60 days before sailing.  We are just off Symphony, and show reservations opened 56 days before sailing.

This. It's usually early in the month prior to your sail month.

We sail on the SOS on Feb 4.  Entertainment reservations were opened on January 3.

Unfortunately, it isn't a consistent thing like checkin is... On Harmony last time time they opened it up on the evening of the 31st.  I just happened to check just to be sure.

Yep, there are always exceptions and no set date. The early previous month is pretty solid but no harm in checking before the month starts like in your case.

I think I am on that same sailing (Symphony) Bahamas May 31st to June7th

The entertainment schedule isn't even up and I wanted to know about reservations because my son is autistic and it would help a lot.
