2SailingNomads Posted January 20 #26 Share Posted January 20 And SB pulled all the stops in Turkey - a reason we booked that cruise in addition to it fitting with our river cruise - from our August cruise despite that cruises before and after are going to Turkey, No reason given. Smells like bad fowl to me. Nataly step up and share please or I'll keep booking elsewhere as I'll be once again on a great Regent ship in 3 weeks when SB could have had my business. Unfortunately, Regent and Silversea are having the same problems with letting their clients know what is going on with cancellations. People who book luxury lines are savvy and can handle the truth.

Regent compensated us with $500 OBC and a 10% discount (based on what we paid) on a future cruise. Nothing from Seabourn for removing the ports in Turkey except a note that the itinerary has been changed with no explanation. A big difference in customer service and retention IMO.
marcy55 Posted July 18 #29 Share Posted July 18 Last month had my Encore cruise 4 May 2025 cancelled. Today I have had my Ovation cruise 30 August 2025 cancelled. Not impressed with the way Seabourn are handling this. As a long time cruiser with Seabourn, nearly 25 years, wonder what is going on as this has never happened before. We are long time cruisers, but after having yet another cruise cancelled on another cruise line my wife and I have given up on cruising for the foreseeable future. We are only booking land-based trips.

My TA checked with Seabourn and they don’t show it as cancelled. Hmmmmmm. Hopefully it is still a go.
margbem Posted July 18 #32 Share Posted July 18 Our Ovation 20 night cruise on September 19th 2025 has just lost a day.
marcy55 Posted July 18 #33 Share Posted July 18 Update, it is the 20 day Ovation cruise leaving 30 August 2025 that has been cancelled. My TA thinks it must be a charter as it is the 9 to 19 September leg that is not available. Interestingly we looked at maybe doing just the first 10 days but our cabins have already gone and the price has increased considerably. The 10 day cruise is almost as much as we were paying for the 20 day cruise.

marcy55 Posted July 18 #37 Share Posted July 18 Yes the information came directly from Seabourn and also my travel agent. I just checked on Seabourn website and there is no cruise for the period 9 to 19 September 2025 on Ovation.
Fortunate 2 travel Posted July 18 #38 Share Posted July 18 It must be the second half of the 20 day on August 30, because you can still book a 10 day on August 30 on the Ovation.
