Celebrity App Daily Planner

Recommended Posts

Hi there, we booked a cruise to Alaska in August 2024 and wondering about the Daily Planner section of the Celebrity App. What is the deal with the excursions that are in the daily planner versus the excursion section of the app? I don’t really understand what that Daily Planner is. Thanks in advance!

The daily planner is the ship board activities for each day.  The app will not reflect the ship board activities for your sailing until a few days before your sailing, but it will show the excursions available for purchase for months before.

I believe your question is that when using the Celebrity App you will see various excursions by day and time under activities.    This is just to more easily see what is available by time slot.   The only difference from clicking the Excursion tab is the format they are displayed.   You can click once on the ship and book from either tab.

Also on the My Calendar -  your booked excursions will show as well as anything you choose to add to your schedule.   The app will give you a reminder so you don't miss it.

Thanks! But not all excursions show in the daily planner so it concerned us that we chose an excursion that may not be running or is on a different ship. The excursion we signed up for is only on the excursions tab but not daily planner. It is in our calendar though so think we’re okay. Just trying to understand the difference and why only certain ones are showing.

Sometimes it takes a while (weeks or more) for things to populate on the app. So long as you have the confirmation, you should be okay.

Probably due to the fact that we are about 6 month prior to the cruise.   The app really isn't updated reliably until closer to cruise.

To confirm what is available and what you have book.  Log on to the website and choose Plan My Cruise.  Choose Excursions ---you will be able to filter by port.

Top right by your initial -   you will see your remaining OBC,   The Calendar Icon will show all your bookings.   If you click your initials and choose Order History it will show all your orders and cancellations.

Like the rest of the app, do not trust the Daily Planner. There are often discrepencies between the app and the real schedule - we've been burned by expecting the app to be correct, only to show up for an event that didn't exist while missing the correct time. I think the app is set up ahead of time and never updated when changes are made during the sailing.
