Saint Greg's Carnival Jubilee - Live - February 3, 2024

Recommended Posts

Thanks for another great live review. I was late to the party as we were away in Hurghada Egypt. I binge read it all in one day. Loved it as always.

We are thinking of doing a 14 night Ncl prima cruise from Galveston next January.

Thank you for this, SG!!  We sail in April.  Ours is one of the cancelled & rebooked cruises from December since the ship wasn't ready in time. Glad to see they finally placed the phone on the wall - frees up valuable desktop space.  Love that there are plenty of outlets/USB ports!!  And is that a REAL hair dryer???  If so, I've just gained some space in my suitcase!  😁

If you're asking if the hair dryer is good, I don't know. I didn't use it. But I know people care so I always try to get the brand and model in there.

This is what I have spent basically all of my free time on since I've been back...and some of my non-free time as well. I think it's ready. I've poked around a bit and I don't think you'll find another this complete and accurate. Actually it's a bit shocking to me the number of people with 1-3 year old prices advertised as "2024 menus." Not updating is one thing. Just changing the year to make your old stuff look new is another.

I marked these up pretty good to try to keep that from happening. I get the impression she doesn't care about having it complete and accurate.... She just wants to have something there for people to click on. That's one of the sites with the 2021-2022 prices listed as 2024 menus....$9.95 Watermelon Crush. That's August 2021 Mardi Gras. It's up to $12 now.

There was some talk about whether or not the Street Eats were different. What I noticed is all of the Time Fries were different. All of the Steam Dream were the same except they swapped out the Tofu one. I didn't really look at Mad Sizzle. Let me look real quick. They changed Shami Kebab to Moroccan Beef Kebab, Tukish beef kebab to Turkish chicken kebab, and Chicken Satay to Teriyaki Chicken.

This is great, very helpful. I for one want to know all this info before booking a ship. Appreciate you taking the time to do this

Greg, We were on this cruise with you. Wish I knew you were on the ship, would have said hello. Really enjoyed the relatively "cool" weather at the ports.Only show we made was Celestial Strings and it was nice. Spent most of our time in the casino.
