Hello, I’m after more help and advice! VV now have a special offer on their 6 night cruise from Portsmouth in September, it’s on the Lock in Rate ltd view sea terrace cabins, are these all on deck 8? how limited is the view likely to be, has anyone had one of these cabins and can offer any feedback or advice?

You are aware that many special offers are not included in the Lock it in rates?  For example, you cannot apply an MNVV certificate to these.  Depending on the goodies you have available to reduce your costs, it can be better to book a Sea Terrace rather than a lock it in; you need to evaluate each offer separately.

Since you are in the UK, things may be different than they are for me.

Limited View cabins tend to have very limited views--often a whole lifeboat in front. But it is still a balcony with a hammock.  I sailed on one two weeks ago. Whole lifeboat in front of us. I didn't mind because we knew that would be the case and it was a lot less than a regular Sea Terrace. Also, while we had no problems at all, some people complain about noise from the Manor or Red Room.

I had a limited view cabin on Resilient Lady on Deck 8 and could see the water between the lifeboats.
