ice pack needed on Beyond

what is the best way to assemble an ice pack? the refrigerator is not cold enough so do I need to get ice twice a day or is there any alternative??

Just ask your stateroom attendant to bring you Ice 2x a day.    If you need more just ring him up and ask for more.   Would be nice if you tipped him accordingly. 

You can also get Ice at the Buffet area.

Invest in an old fashion ice bag and put the ice in it to keep it frozen longer.  On our last cruise I had a fractured bone in my foot and our butler brought me an ice bag 2 times a day, in addition to filling the ice bucket.

Take ziplock freezer bags and get them filled by bar staff or at juice machines as you need them .... i;ve been doing this for years !

You could also buy from CVS/Walgreen's et al one of those bags that you snap in half and it becomes an ice pack, yet you don't need to keep it in the freezer.  They work great, I always keep a couple in the house.

We used one of these ice bags, as well as these instant cold packs.
