yes, as a night owl (I never go to bed before 3AM while on the ship), I can say that the location doesn't matter as fare as what is over or under me.  I just try to get as close to stairs/elevators as possible and hopefully the same end of the ship as the casino

Only you can decide what location is best for you since it will be based on your preferences.

But look at the deck plans for the ships you are considering for the solo categories and see where they are located.

You won't get much selection of location for a 'solo inside'.  When someone mentioned it before, I looked it up for the Bliss - the solo inside cabins were ALL on deck 5 forward, under the theater.  If you can afford the little bit extra, the Studio or a regular inside might be a better option for the location.

yep.. all of the ones in black are IX - Inside Solo... the one circled in red is the one I will be in.. 🙂
