barric Posted March 6 #1 Share Posted March 6 We expect some rainy weather for our early March sailing on Vision. Does anyone recall if suites provide umbrellas? Charleston is worth walking around even in a modest rain.
Coralc Posted March 6 #2 Share Posted March 6 No. You might want to pack your own. They have loaners in Central Park on the big ships. And we won once at trivia. I have heard that Celebrity might provide them for use during the cruise. But Royal Caribbean does not.
neverbeenhere Posted March 6 #3 Share Posted March 6 As a cruiser from the Northwest , what is this thing you call an “umbrella”? Whatever it is, you would never find one of us using the device.
BND Posted March 6 #4 Share Posted March 6 Celebrity does. Royal doesn't. Pack a small travel one or cheap ponchos. 1

My parents lived in Oregon for a few years and used to talk about how they rarely used an umbrella because it mostly drizzled. It rarely rains like it does here on the east coast. Plus, my post was kind of tongue in cheek to your post. You know, as in you would never lower yourself to use an umbrella. I have lived here my entire life. Love the rain and you are correct, Oregonians aren’t bothered by the rain.😀
