I like on NCL I can save enough of my FAS WiFi minutes to do Southwest check in. On Carnival I have no Wi-Fi so have to pay $50 for us to get early bird check in.

Does Carnival not still have some free sites? I always thought the airlines were included.

As usual I'm probably the last to know lol. I will look into it, thanks.

This is the area I’m talking about. “Access Free Sites.” I always have WiFi, but I’m pretty sure they allow airline check-in.

If not free I saw I can purchase one day of Internet for less than $20 which is a lot less than $50. It's  problematic to not have an assigned seat on Southwest ughhhh.

I'm a lightweight and like drinks that don't taste like alcohol so a sexy glass helps get me through the ordeal😂🤣

Perhaps your drink should buy you dinner before the ordeal...seems proper.

Early bird check in is $15. I think 🤔

You really only need one purchaser if you are willing to sit in the rear.

Honestly right now wifi is still super slow and cell service doesn’t really work in my room, so I’ll get photos caught up in a bit. I’m waiting til 8 to leave the room and head out, they’ve called self assist and a couple colors so far but I’m in no hurry.

@TxTeach79 great review, I am boarding her in 2 weeks for Panama Canal cruise. Need to spread my wings and try some new drinks. BF is the one with a drinking problem and hopefully he will stay on track and stay with mocktails and NA beer so I can't order 2 at a time as I don't want to give him any temptation.

Safe travels home.

Wifi went kaput last night, at least as far as posting photos. Sorry about that! Morning from Miami!

Wow that went fast.  Safe travels home!

So let me look at timestamps to really put this in perspective….

Took the last photo of my cabin at 7:59. Stepped off the ship at 8:02.
Through customs and waiting for my Uber outside at 8:11.
Walked into my hotel at 8:30.
In my room at 8:35.

pretty amazing. From sitting on the bed on deck 4 of the Sun to sitting on the bed at my hotel in Midtown Miami in 36 minutes. Small ship life!

also, I wasn’t supposed to be able to check in til 10am and he checked me in anyway. Bonus. I have the room til 5, I have access to the rooftop pool, which is nice, but I also can just be exceptionally lazy all day which is also nice especially since I have to work tomorrow.

I don't know what it's based on but it's always been $25 pp for me. We each get 2 free a year with the CC but that's only one trip. Have considered buying only one but I would crack under the pressure if trying to save a seat and husband is a wild card, there would be the potential of us getting kicked off the plane if he was trying to save a seat and it went south🤔
