@Radio  Thank you, again, for posting the dailies.

I noticed that the shows Elements and the Aerialists (Mr. and Mrs. Fefelov) have not shown up in the dailies yet.   Do you know if Elements is still happening this week?

Elements show is tonight (DAY 6) 7PM and 9:30

Good morning, and Welcome to DAY 6 of "LIVE" from Norwegian Joy.

It is a little cool this morning in Bermuda (68f), but it should be warming up nicely this afternoon.

My plans today are to hang out in the Dockyard, and check out a few things but I have missed. There are many shopping opportunities for passengers for every budget. I'm sure I plan on heading over to Clocktower Mall, Phoenix Pharmacy, Frog and Onion Pub and I'm sure I will make it over to the Bermuda National museum.

I had a nice dinner last night at Cagney's. The filet was very good, and it was almost too much to eat. . .

It was very tender and had a great flavor. (Note from Radio: Do not order the Crab cake)

I plan on getting back to the ship today by 1pm. Norwegian Joy is scheduled to leave Bermuda at 5pm and head back to NYC.

Here are a few pics from last night and early this morning. Thanks for tuning in.

Question: on Bermuda gov site it states that masks are still required on public transportation and some retail venues.  Have you found that to be true?  Always travel with one ea h "in case" but need to know if we should bring more.  Thanks!

There are no mask requirements of any type in Bermuda at this time. I have not viewed any local from Bermuda wearing a mask during my three days here.

👍...I didn't think so, but saw that on Bermuda gov and wanted verification.  Your posts have been great!

Cambridge Beaches Resort is a beautiful property and it seems like every time you turn your head, you get another postcard-like view.

There are two private pools, four private beaches, and  several lounges. I think I could stay here for a week or more.

Did you get a day pass for here?  How much was it and what all does it include?  Looks like a lovely place.

Having grown up in Maryland, I think we judge crab cakes differently then the rest of the population.  In Maryland you get mostly crab and other places you seem to get a lot of filler.  Just wondering if that was the case with Cagney's.  Sadly, I've learned to lower my expectations when I see crab cakes on any menu 😞

There is nothing like crab cakes from Maryland and Lobster from Maine. Nothing else comes close

No Day Pass, I just drove through the Resort. It was suggested that you are welcome to dine there. I did not make any purchases.

Hello everyone and good day.
Norwegian Joy has left Bermuda under sunny skies and is on her way to Pier 88 in New York.

I got off the ship this morning around 10, and visited several shops. I had to make a T-shirt run and get a few Barritts Ginger Beers. Ginger Beer is non alcoholic and has a unique flavor. It's kind of like birch beer/ginger ale. It is very good. It is made in Bermuda.

I went to Snorkel Park Beach, just to take a few pics. It was only around 11, and not many passengers were there. It started to fill up around 1pm this afternoon. I also went to the Frog and Onion Pub and restaurant for a cold drink and some snacks. It has a very British look and feel. I really like it there.

I also went to Bermuda National Museum. I love it there. The large Stone building that everyone sees from the ship is the Commissioner's house, and there is a museum inside with a lot of Bermuda history.

You can get some great views of the Royal Naval Dockyard, and you can get very nice views of Snorkel Park Beach from above.

Tomorrow will be a day at sea, as we head back to New York. At some time tomorrow we should be passing Norwegian Gem as she is on her way to Bermuda for the weekend.

Here are a few pics from today.

Hello everyone and good morning. Welcome to DAY 7 of "LIVE" from Norwegian Joy.

Today is the day that no one loves. It is the last day of the Cruise. At least for me it is. I talked with several passengers who are staying on for the next cruise.

Next week there will be a lot more passengers on board. We had 4120 this week. My cabin attendant suggested that there will be almost 600 more passengers. Most of them will be kids. *Yikes*

I went to dinner last night at Teppanyaki. It was very entertaining. I was unable to consume the whole meal. It was very filling, and very good.

The Freestyle Daily is packed with many activities, both indoor and outdoor. The slides, the racetrack, Joy Casino and shops will be very busy all day. The Guest Service and On Board Credit desk will also be very busy until late tonight.

The pool decks are a little unusual as passengers are bundled up in coats and towels. It is a little chilly and windy. We are going back to New York at twice the speed we went to Bermuda. (21kts vs 10kts)

I'm posting later than usual because I had to start packing. (argh) Yes, I brought many clothes that I did not wear, and I brought many GoPro accessories that I did not use.

Here are a few pics from last night and today.

Thanks for tuning in.

Thanks for all the photos.  This has definitely upped my interest in sailing on the Joy, possibly this September to Quebec.

We were in Bermuda for a few hours only on 4/28 (Getaway) and very much enjoyed the National Museum and the grounds.  Beautiful views, and we happened to be on the veranda at the Commander's home when the Gem sailed in to join the Getaway. Fun to see them lined up.

I walked when I was there in January.  I'd say it took me around 20 minutes.  I just opened Google Maps to get there.  It took me along a road that sometimes had a sidewalk but most of the time it didn't.  Anyone with any mobility issues should take a cab.
