Main pool and surfside pool been shut down for the last hour two for the remainder of the day because of vomit or poop. We were in Cloud 17 pool as one of the only remaining ones open (Hideaway, cloud 17 and swim and tonic) and lifeguard had to call his supervisor arguing with a lady who had a baby in a diaper in the pool and wouldn't leave.

Supervisor came and argued and eventually left but the lady and baby remained in the pool but he was writing stuff down, so who knows. People suck.

Some people are so selfish.

Let's see where the evening takes us. Ice show tonight, I think we'll check out Phoenix in music hall, there's an Elton John tribute in Schooner, and the red party. Might check out the jazz club as well even though I'm not a fan of jazz.

@colesc15 I have an odd question, if you don't mind.  We have an OV cabin on deck 4 and my husband wants to know if the escalator is accessible from the cabin corridor?  It would be a great location if we could access the casino and escalator to deck 5 from that cabin location.  I doubt that is the case, but it would be nice to know ahead of time.

Thanks!

Unfortunately no. The escalator goes from the promenade to a corridor that goes directly into the casino to the left or the gangway to the right.

If you have time could you check and see if the MDR has a buffet at breakfast time? I know previously they have had a small buffet at breakfast along with a menu for ordering. I would appreciate if you could let everyone know. Thank you and happy cruising!!!

Do you know the names of these drinks?

The bubble one was the 1400 and the other one was rising tide. Both from 1400 bar.

The ice show earlier was up there with some of my favorites on any royal ship. Great music, technology, and skating and the juggler finished top 10 in agt a few years ago. 20240519_190457.thumb.jpg.e85ac6f89399216b77c3e5bdbe9071c0.jpg20240519_191751.thumb.jpg.8a3a97d3e9e5bff6d88d0a361535e805.jpg20240519_191829.thumb.jpg.efa217e84ec41ea3aa0e5440957f9cd9.jpg20240519_191910.thumb.jpg.7fe0687f40245b95df971b92053b4b3e.jpg

After the Phoenix cover band, we spent some time in Schooner and used the last of my d+ drinks. Now finishing my drink on the balcony enjoying the soft noise of the ocean. Good night everyone. On to day 3.

I'm afraid that would've gotten my dander up a bit, might of had to make a comment to the criminal.  "I hate rude behavior in a man...won't tolerate it"....Cpt Call-Lonesome Dove.

Windy up here at Cloud 17 but feels good since it's so warm. Sea day #2 of having no issue at all finding a chair in the sun or shade. 20240520_102243.thumb.jpg.31fe5df3ecb14579199bfda82ba9c6dd.jpg

We've been taking the "scenic route" anytime we go anywhere.. As my wife and I are huge dog lovers, we WILL find Rover before the end of this cruise lol.

Every time we're going anywhere we do a pass through surf side, central park, and the promenade. Also peak into the aqua dome area as well.

Ventured down to ankle biter land (surf side) to try a few of the bites at Surfside bites. Man would it not be fun to have a balcony over Surfside. Constant shreeking of kids. 20240520_112914.thumb.jpg.beb95d7a0f35d8d9284a0dcfaec4c664.jpg

Appreciate all the pictures. Surf side bites look fantastic. Have you had a chance to look into the jazz club?

We haven't! We're hoping to tonight or tomorrow. The dueling piano duo are sick and the shows all got canceled this week, so we unfortunately won't get to see that.

Last week, we learned that she is usually on the port side of the jogging track around 8am every morning.

Day 2 in a row of the main pool being shut down in the middle of sea day due to vomit. Again, people suck. 20240520_133141.thumb.jpg.0e9b40d74110241a5ad580c9f4ff3bfc.jpg

I've never seen this happen so often in all my years of cruising.

Same. I don't get it. The pools aren't any more crowded and most kids stay down in Surfside
