Rare Windsurfboy Posted June 3 #1 Share Posted June 3 I understand that you don't get water in cabin on Arvia not even suite. You can of course buy bottled water, but think of all the plastic. We have some aluminium water bottles, where do you fill them up. Are there stations on every deck or do you need to go to buffet. Thanke

EM35 Posted June 3 #5 Share Posted June 3 You can also order cans of water from your room steward - there is usually a card that can be completed in the cabin on the first day. Recently on Iona it was 6 500 ml cans for £8.05 - still or sparkling.

Thanke The cans of water on Iona were difficult to drink from with the resealers on them. I usually get an extra big bottle of Sparkling water from Sindhu and Epicurean after dinner and take it back to our cabin.
Sawdan Posted June 3 #7 Share Posted June 3 Yes, as mentioned above. Water stations are handy across the ship. From memory the ones we used are the 2 on D16 in the Skydome and 1 by Keel & Cow on D8. You just stand your bottle on the stand and the sensor sees your bottle and starts dispensing. Simply remove your bottle when full Best not to fill up in Horizon or Quays as it's not hygienic. These dispensers are for small cups and beakers. Nothing worse than seeing people angle their large water bottles inside the protective cover to fill them. Very irritating as there are signs saying do not fill water bottles for hygiene reasons. Have a great cruise

I usually bottle it and stick it in the fridge as it improves the taste. That said Arvia water has no after taste. My wife prefers to fill up from the designated water dispensers. Bin man Posted June 4 #9 Share Posted June 4 There are 2 also on deck 6 either end of Costa. Use them rather then trying to stick water container under sink tap .
