Rare silentbob007 Posted June 8 #2 Share Posted June 8 Unique itineraries tend to have earlier booking. There will surely be some who drop out when final payment comes, but if you really want that sailing you might want to book now and, depending if you are able, make future changes to your reservation if a specific cabin comes up that you want. mets123 Posted June 8 #3 Share Posted June 8 Try a travel agency. Sometimes they grab blocks of cabins and hold onto them for future bookings

Look at a site like cruiseplum to see the pricing and availability trend (it usually has one year's worth of data).

There are cabins for 2, 3 or 4 guests with a choose your room option for every category of room for the Sept 29th sailing on the Indy. The ship is no where ear being sold out

If booked this way, you will be assigned a stateroom in the category you select (and possibly higher) so there is no risk in that. Once assigned, if you are not happy with the location, you can contact whomever you booked through and as long as there is still availability within the assigned sub-category they can advise you of alternative locations and you can switch your assignment accordingly at n/c. This also can offset any concerns over potentially undesirable location assignments. Edited June 10 by leaveitallbehind
