Many hotels put large groups into a ballroom for their buffet meal.  Why -- imagine 200 guests descending on the restaurant at the same time, one hour before the schedule tour. In Tokyo Regent/Hilton did not do this and we had both Regent and Oceania guests at the same time and the line extended into the reception desk area.

Surprised to hear that. We had our breakfasts in a ballroom at the Tokyo Hilton precruise 2023. I know others have had the same since then. Can only imagine there must have been some kind of hotel logistics issue as I am sure they didn’t want the scene you describe. 
We also used another ballroom for excursion dispatch.

We have had it both ways.  I am sure it depends on what the hotel can handle.

Sorry to sound negative ,you are about to go on a beautiful cruise that most people dream about  and the ride to the hotel was upsetting and breakfast was not up to par,maybe this post is a joke

Maybe, as we've not heard a peep from the ops......are they out there? Jump ship? Where are they? Maybe their onboard experience wasn't so bad after all!!!

Just read the OP’s prior posts in another thread. It sounds like they were ill prepared to both plan and take a cruise. I feel kind of sorry for them as I think they might have needed someone to educate them and help them along the trip.
