Met the shuttle lady near baggage claim; indeed $27.

Was that a private shuttle?  Princess shows $44 pp.  We were just going to take a taxi like we've done before when we board the Discovery in two weeks but if that's a private shuttle that's probably a bit better deal.

No; it’s literally sponsored by princess

when you go to baggage claim at SEATAC you’ll see people walking around with signs; THOSE are the people You want.

Thank you, will look for that.  I wonder how the folks feel who paid Princess $44 a piece LOL.

And no need to apologize.  It's your cruise and you need to enjoy it.  Appreciate whatever info you can provide whenever it is convenient for you.

Damn sorry; we mustered, ate a little lunch; went and seen the two Sky Suites (which actually have four people in them each!)

we did take a photo though..although Nic used “filters” so we look a little Cartooney..we’ve gotten unpacked now and ready to party

I am sure you are aware of the Casino Hours after leaving Victoria.  I "think" they will remain closed until you get back to Seattle.  Check with them to see when the last night you can cash out.

How did you get in to see the Sky Suites?  Say "Hi" to your cousins for all of us.  You're on your way.

Nah we just went over to the two rooms and looked at the doors haha

sorry for the lack of updates; we’re just rolling laughing at each others stories.

Had our dinner at Catch; which was great as usual. Jason got the surf & turf, Nic got the mushroom crusted halibut, and I finally got my Dover Sole. We went in at 7, and didn’t leave until 9:20, haha.

After dinner we took a walk around the ship to walk our dinner off.

Then stopped by the casino to suck out the monies. I got my $400 OBC out and then played my $2500 freeplay as 250 hands of $10 single-line video poker; ranbad and only got $1640…I guess it’s better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick.

Its 11pm now and were bedding down for the night.

I didn’t realize that suites on the Discovery had those stupid auto nightlights! (I’d of brought some painters tape to cover them!)IMG_7581.thumb.jpeg.a8ab91060eb1fd3c03e4c0b11befcd17.jpegIMG_7584.thumb.jpeg.e28482c48fa4a7aeea53174783de432f.jpegIMG_7583.thumb.jpeg.0bdeab075f2c470a8e9373c6c39d4845.jpegIMG_7582.thumb.jpeg.97a446f90eb40ae8192d2082ab0ac8ae.jpegIMG_7585.thumb.jpeg.f9709c66e393fb5ad663cc863acbfc8c.jpegIMG_7586.thumb.jpeg.6ef8be4f5cef50375148969c99ce00c3.jpeg

Ex’s seat got used by a stand-by..it’s crazy how many people fly stand-by (my last flight with ex no-show was also snapped up by a stand-by)

How does that work? I'm assuming you paid for that seat? So if someone else takes it do you get reimbursed?

So the Platinum/Elite happy hour is actually in Take 5 on this ship, because they said there’s only 140 Platinums and 80 Elite’s on this ship!IMG_7579.thumb.jpeg.cf780992e100c02a0177d73ceeaf4838.jpeg

Yum, do I spy key lime pie? Royal Caribbean, who we usually cruise on, is to cheap to have that during their HH.

I’m bringing post-it notes (for those “senior moments”😆). Do you think those would work over the sensors?

correction….room (rom) steward

Post it notes are not sticky enough.  Painter’s tape works best.  Take a long strip and fold it on to itself.  It will come apart easily.  Or stick a towel under the bed table drawers.  The closet one is the worse.  If you tape it, you won’t have any light in the closet except from the bathroom.

I'm fairly certain that in the PH suites on the side the closets are in a wall so not an issue.  But I've found that even when you have that light between the bathroom and the closet you can still use the light switch to turn on that light.

@azbirdmom, yes, night lights in a suite are along the closet floorboard.  All other cabins have a motion detector on the overhead light fixture in the closet area.  These light fixtures do not have a switch.

I think it must vary by ship then because we have found that light will turn on with switch in mini suites.  We've been in mostly suites the last couple of years but the last mini suite was a year ago on the Regal and the first switch by the door definitely turned on the "hall" light.

Hell that's cheaper than Lyft/Uber for 2!
