Help - Boarding time Just changed

Recommended Posts

I cruise today.  Our original boarding time was 10am.  Now it just changed to 12 noon.  Will they turn us away if we arrive early?  Does boarding time meant the time we step foot on the ship or start the process at Canada Place?

Since when was it 10am? Never heard of that...the assigned times when they were occurring weren't assigned until the last few weeks, and the assigned times have been gone for a while.

As mentioned, you won't be turned away...but you may have to wait a bit.

By the way, boarding means the time you step on the ship. You have to do check in, security and Immigration before you step on the ship.

It was changed to noon for everyone some months ago. You will not be turned away (unless you show up so late boarding has closed).

Safe travels - enjoy your cruise.

10am was our boarding time in May on Celebrity Edge in Vancouver... there were several ships in port and it was very early in the season, so lots of lines everywhere... but still on the ship by 10:40am...  Not much benefit since Oceanview wasn't even open yet... maybe a possible way to get people to actually visit their muster station... lol

But that is not HAL's policy, and the OP is sailing on HAL.

The point was that the 10am boarding time was not the norm for Celebrity either...
