11 night cruise menu rotation

Recommended Posts

We are sailing on Odyssey in January for an 11 night Southern Caribbean.

I have not been able to find what menus are brought in for the additional 4 nights over and above, the routine 7 nights

I always enjoy the menus on longer cruises.

If you go on the app and look at a current or near future caribbean sailing that is 11 nights that will probably give a very good idea of what to expect.

I believe there are 10 different menus in rotation. With that said, while a menu as a whole won't be repeated, some items will be.

There are 14 menus.

To all looking at menus now … you are seeing current cruise menus.

11 day cruise will most likely feature

Welcome Aboard

A Taste of France

A Taste of Italy

A Taste of Mexico

A Taste of USA

A Taste of UK

A Taste of Caribbean

A Taste of Mediterranean

A Taste of Asia

Royal Night

Bon Voyage

First two and last two in this order.

Other menus: A Taste of Royal Classics, A Taste of the World.

Forgot 14th

Correction… apparently A Taste of Royal History and A Taste of Classic are two different menus. So here we have 14 menus.

Welcome Aboard

A Taste of France

… Italy

… USA

… UK

… Mexico

… Mediterranean

… Caribbean

… Asia

… Classic

… Royal History

… The World

Royal Night

Bon Voyage

(5 cruises a year with Royal do this to you 🙂 )

Was on a 15 night TA last fall and I don't recall a repeat menu, but there were repeat items across some menus.

Agree, in past have done three 16niters and never a repeat, some items on them yes, but they break out these extra menus when needed

Do you remember the names of menus? Each should have unique name (since 2023)

A LOT of repeat items - some have as much as 50% repeat items on them! On a 14 night we had the herb crust salmon 4 days in a row - without any other fish option!

Interesting. What menus did you have? Herb crusted salmon is on one or two. Salmon is on most, but with various crusts.

No it is on a LOT of menus - maitre admitted they did a bad job in having menus with same repeat items in a row....he said he will allert the coordinator to make sure they will not have that menu order again.... They fixed the last one by making a special crust for the salmon for us....

Same here -

I don't mind that a few items are repeated as it gives me a chance to enjoy it again.  Our longest single cruise was 17 nights with NO repeat full  menus.

Probably a mistake. We were on 11, 12 and 7 dayers this year and this never happened.

It was a first for us too - they just did not pay attention to the order they put the menus🤪
