Princess Plus - 2 Casual Dining experiences included

Recommended Posts

Casual dining is a 3 course prix fixe meal offered at specific restaurants which can vary by ship. Some restaurants have permanent locations such as Vines, Salty Dog, Alfredo’s/gigis whereas others are considered pop ups. These pop ups will be held in a partitioned off place in the buffet area. You need reservations for these however they can not be made until you board the ship.

On Caribbean Princess last week the casual dining options were Planks (BBQ type) and Steamers. Open alternate nights in the back end of the buffet. You can’t book via the app so we went up there and decided to book one meal in each one (as per Princess Plus). Lovely meals and well worth the cover charge if you’re not on Princess Plus.

I’m familiar with Specialty dining and pretty sure that’s not what this is.

What exactly is casual dining and is this a decent perk or not?
