Presidents day holiday for cruise booking

Is the week before Presidents day a big week for school winter breaks, or is it normally the week of President day?

Yes, President's Day week is a traditional Mid-Winter Break for a lot of school districts across the country.  Most ships will probably be sailing at above the reported capacity (2 people per stateroom).

I have cruised President's week multiple times and it is always filled with kids. Not sure about the week before. Would help to know where you would be going and the length of the cruise (longer cruises usually mean less kids).

We moved the cruise to the first week in February. Didn't want to chance it. Thanks!

I don’t know how long your cruise is, but anything 7 days  or less has a good chance of having quiet a few kids no matter when it sails.

We normally do not have a problem outside of school breaks, thankfully.

I taught for years and always cruised during breaks and never had a problem then, and my kids were grown. People spend too much time worrying about others.

Here in the northeast many districts are off presidents week, it’s a very congested area. Flights are insane that week, so we’ve never flown anywhere.
