Protein Drinks?

My daughter is on a special high protein diet, and she drinks some of these shakes every day.  Is she allowed to bring them onboard?  I looked at the Celebrity list of things not allowed, and I would guess if they're considered food, the answer would be yes.  If they're considered beverages, not sure.

Agree on the special needs just to be sure. I think this has come up in the past, more from a protein supplement for people training. My foggy memory is it was OK. But if a health care provider is on record (written letter/script) that she needs it, I'm confident the special needs folks will facilitate it.

At Spa Cafe on a recent Edge sailing, a crew member blended a special drink (kale tonic) with spoonfuls of protein powder provided by the guest. Could be an option for your daughter.
