Seafood cake is very similar to the crab cake and just as delicious amd full of mice chunks of Seafood and not a lot of filler. Definitely recommend.

Trying something new for me...

Turkey dinner 7:25.

I'm not really a turkey person but I've seen a number of reviews recently raving about it and I don't dislike turkey. I wasn't a fan. It was not bad but it was a little dry and lacked much flavor. The flavor is perhaps on me as I said I am mixed on turkey, bit it definitely needed to be more moist.

The salmon was also just a touch dry. The flavors were all very good and I can tell this would have been a home run if not for that.

I don't feel a food coma coming on. Maybe dessert will push me over.

I never did find a cookie like you described. I never made it there before lunch was set up, so perhaps it is a breakfast item? I'm not a big cookie person so did not try any but I saw four kinds at the Windjammer each day. Chocolate, peanut butter, oatmeal raisin, and sugar free lemon. One or two of those flavors could also be located at Café Promenade each day. A lot of people seem to really like the oatmeal raisin but I can't say that I have ever tried it as I'm not a big fan of oatmeal raisin.

Oh my goodness!  You are so sweet to remember my request - one that I had forgotten about.😁

Oatmeal raisin is our go to cookie on cruises, so I do hope they are delicious!  Thank you!

BTW - I vote for getting off the ship ASAP...You never know what type of traffic you will get stuck in.  Great review!  I can't believe the cruise is over.

If it was Miami it would definitely be a get out of town asap scenario. Ft.lauderdale is usually not terrible until 95.

Can't believe it's over either. Bummer.

Well I'd managed to go the entire cruise without needing my motion pills. Very smooth ride.

I did just get into my vitamin c tablets I picked up somewhere in Spain last year. Feel the Ole cruise crud coming on and since I won't get a good night's sleep I need all the help I can get to keep it away.

I really enjoyed following you once again. If you are going to try the casino again. I hope you win big!

Thanks

Thank you. Sadly, the casino budget is busted for a couple trips. I set myself three budgets to stick to with the expectation of hitting the middle budget. I blew past all of them, by more than I should have. Gonna have to sit the casino out for now, but I have until April to renew my status at least.

Did a little last minute wanders just taking in the ship one last time. I said it before but it is worth repeating, this class of ship feels like home. Second only to Conquest class on Carnival, I have spent more days at sea on Voyager/Freedom class than any other and it was so wonderful to be back.

Took care of my Next Cruise booking bonus and will assign it to something once I get a chance to nail down the date that will work best.

Cashed in my vouchers. Andrew must have covered my coffee this morning as I still had all five vouchers remaining. He is trying to make up for the way he treated me but it is too little too late.

I'm back in the room now and going to see about turning in early to make the transition back into reality a little less unpleasant.

Thanks for following along, good night everyone.

Thank you jam. It was a great week following your adventures. I also can't believe that your cruise is over. Safe travels home and best of luck to your mom.

Good morning from or near Ft.Lauderdale.

I guess since I am up anyway, I am going to finish throwing together my stuff and head on out with the first group of people. It's way too early for sane people to be awake, goodness me.

After 2 weeks we are ready to go home. We are watching Icon pass us on from our port side balcony.

I wouldn't say I'm ready, but I know all good things must come to an end 😀.
