New casino comp cancellation policy?

On Wednesday or Thursday (August 21-22), I saw info posted regarding new penalties for no-shows and last minute cancellations of casino comped cruises. I believe it was a copy of an email from Royal.  I should have done a screen print, because now I can’t remember which thread included this post.  Does anyone else have this info or could post a copy of the email?

What that e mail alludes to but doesn't make perfect;y clear is that this new policy only applies to guests who have previously cancelled last minute or have been a no show.  for Guests that have sailed on all of their free cruises this new policy does not apply.

Nice of RCI to make that distinction and not punish the majority for the issue of the minority.

I think that's fair and I'm more surprised there was not something in place like this before.

 

People not turning up puts the entire casino comp campaign at risk - to the detriment of everyone else.

Well,,, the casino "pays" for the cruise to the cruise line. The cost of the cruise goes from the casino account to "pay" for the voyage. Which is why, if you no show, you lose that comp (and now $200).
