I have received 3 different notices for Royal Up on this cruise. Does this mean they are still trying to fill rooms?

We stopped bidding on royal ups. 
 

Now mind you we booked this cruise well over a year ago and GS were half the current price then. 
Not many options left open above us. 
 

And yes, buckeyes are a PIA for me to make.  I’d rather roll kolachi dough and make than deal with those darn buckeyes. 
 

And I agree. It’s the PENN state curse.

I will be driving home from Bowling Green Ohio and will be busy cleaning and getting the house ready. Every Monday thru Wednesday I help my daughter and her husband. 
( Babysit for my granddaughter).

Often we hear sender does not put enough “s’s” in my email or puts to many.

To think then I left a small note hidden in the cabin. I wonder if in 14 years the cleaning crew found it. Time will tell. And a picture  will be posted of the hiding place will be shared. 
 

I had a significant amount of time to think what to do to make a thread about a cruise ship that has been around for many years interesting. 
 

I have decided to present more pictures and a lesser amount of dialogue. 
 

We shall sea how it goes. 
 

Then I had to decide which camera to use. 
 

I have collected a few, and now have to decide which ones to take. 
 

I’ve  narrowed my choices down to the following:  Now to decide which one. 
 

First my palm camera. 
 

Then an oldie

 

 

I like this one an attention getter

 

 

This one will probably be eliminated. Very few still work. 
 

 

I will have to be very still to look down into lens to use this camera. 
 

 

Then my fun trendy camera. 

 

And finally love the blinding flash and “red eye” this one provides. 
 

 

It has been a difficult decision.  I currently have a collection of over 50 old cameras and love them all. 
 

 

So more details to come. 
I guess I should say more pictures to be shared.

Thank you Sue for doing this live. My wife asks me while on a cruise “Why do a live review, isn’t that way too much work”? I respond that I actually enjoy doing it. It is a creative outlet for me in my writing and video work. I also do it to inform our fellow CC members of what particular ships and itineraries are like for their travels as well as reviewing food and drinks and entertainment. But most importantly I do it so I have a scrap book memory of my cruise, what I did and the pictures to reflect on. It’s tough as you get older to remember things. I have all my cruise review links saved so if I ever wanted to remember a certain thing I can call it up and see exactly what, where, when and how I did something on my cruise.

That is what I thought too, Greg.  But, I recently had to pull up a few of my old reviews and many of the photos are missing or will not display.  I don’t recall if I was using a third party hosting site or not.   Bottom line is that some photos display and some do not.

 

That was a little disappointing.  I wonder if CC purges some photos from their servers, and if so, how they determine which ones go?  I may have to start printing reviews to a pdf format and saving them locally.

I wondered about that. I would assume they purge photos after a certain amount of time. I may see about saving in a pdf but some of my reviews go multiple pages 30-40.

I loved them as the slides were so vivid and really caught any scenes in detail.
