Taxi cost FLL to Port Everglades

What’s the current taxi, Uber or Lyft price for FLL to Port Everglades?

 

I plan on dropping my husband off at the pier and then return the rental car at airport. I assume I’ll have to take a shuttle from the rental car facility back to the terminal to get a cab. Would Uber or Lyft be able to pick me up at the rental car facility?

 

It’s a one-way rental with Alamo. Unfortunately neither Budget or Avis are available from where we need to pick it up. We’ve used Avis in the past and found their off-airport drop off location very convenient.

About $20 for taxi, before tip. There is an estimating feature on the Uber website.

When you return the car to the rental center at FLL, walk toward the elevator/escalator and take it to ground level. It's near Terminal 1 where you can pick up a taxi to PE.

I would grab an Uber or Lyft before I'd get a taxi. You can get prices on each of their respective apps.

The car rental facility is in the garage opposite terminal 1 so you just walk back to terminal one to get your taxi Uber/Lyft.
