Majestic Double Down Bar

Has anyone been on the Majestic recently ?  Is the Double Down bar still operating as a bar and is there any music there. Haven’t been on her since right after the restart.  Have gotten used to Grand class ships with Wheelhouse bar with pre dinner music every night

We recently spent 33 days onboard and they had a piano player/vocalist in there most nights.  If you want to review the Patters from that trip expand my signature below for my "Live" blog from that cruise.

Thanks   We like a larger bar with music than you get at the Crown Grill bar or the ones around the piazza

The Double Down has a fairly large bar.  We liked the Crown Grill Bar but it was always very busy.  Our favorite bar on the Majestic is Vines.  They have a full service bar too. 🍷

Yes but it is right on the piazza area which gets really loud

well now, that's depends on your mood, and your mood depends on how many glasses of wine consumed. After four glasses I don't give a damn.

I think we were on the same cruise (Sydney to Seatle).  Near the end of the cruise, they brought in two Baccarat tables.  I assume they were turning that into additional casino space like they have done with other ships.  No idea how that would affect the music provided.  Anyone currently onboard Majestic who can give current and accurate information?

Would love to have up dates as we like to have a nice bar that is not super loud for pre dinner drinks and for after casino double Sambuccas to take back to the cabin
