Edge class question

We have been on several X cruises, but none lately and none on Edge class. We are looking at a Transpacific next year on the Edge with many sea days.

I just read a comment on another section to the effect that : "Not a comfortable chair to be found on Edge class ships." They seemed to be implying  style over function and comfort.

I'm in my early 70's and do often look for a comfortable chair/seat to hang out on sea days.

I'd appreciate thoughts from experienced Edge class cruisers

TIA

Many of the Edge Class ships chairs do not have armrests.

We don't sit on the armrests. Must be the reason the chairs themselves are comfortable to us.

The guy in the blue shirt does not look comfortable.

The Martini Bar area. Or he is sitting there for a reason. Plenty of unoccupied chairs with armrests. But the lady in the back to the left looks comfortable. We sit in those chairs. As you can clearly see, not all chairs are armless.
