Blu on Reflection

Can you order something from the MDR while in Blu? I searched and it says some ships will do that and others won't - depending on proximity to the MDR. I'm only asking because on an upcoming cruise, the menu shows a preferred meal in the MDR one night while my other half sees something he'd like in Blu (yes, we have an Aqua room). Thanks in advance.

We were in Aqua class on the Reflection for the Transatlantic cruise in the spring of 2023. At that time, I ordered from the MDR several times near the end of our cruise since nothing on Blu's menu appealed to me.

 

I do not know if they changed that this year. Hopefully, someone with more recent info will chime in.

That policy would not have changed.

We have found that whether or not items from the MDR are available can depend upon the MaitreD, how busy Blu is at the time and staffing levels.

Just off Reflection two days ago. Ordered both the MDR Prime Rib and the Blu Filet Mignon (in Blu) the first night with no issues.

We were not able to order from the MDR menu on Reflection.  It depends on the staffing numbers and the management.  So we made arrangements to dine in the MDR.

I had no problem ordering off the MDR menu in Blu on Reflection this spring.
