Obviously not made a claim because they had noro and considered the cruise company to be liable but was unsuccessful in that claim because the cruise company successfully argued their hygiene procedures were satisfactory, because you have said not that.

On Arvia at Easter the cutlery in the buffet wasn't wrapped in a napkin. It was, help yourself from the cutlery tray and take a napkin from the pile.

They’re nice & “wet”, so give you a good wipe for sticky paws.  Use before eating, to get an anti-viral & anti-bacterial effect, then tuck the wipe back into the pouch, to use again after you’ve eaten, or possibly between courses, if you make a second trip to the buffet 

Just my experience but I’ve never had a gastro infection on a cruise.

 

I keep some in my pocket & dog-walking bag, and always use them if we stop for coffee & cake during a walk when I’ve tidied up after poochie

 

 

Thats the same ones we use while out and about and in the buffet, the same ones are used in the hospitals and their larger packets ( Green ones) to wipe down the cabin before I start unpacking, at present we have never caught the sickness 🤞 never will hopefully, we are on Ventura soon for 35 nights I’m sure there be some outbreaks then .

Well, I must have been very lucky or have a strong constitution.  I have never caught any of these bugs on a ship and I don't spend my time santising this and that any more than I do at home.  No I don't walk round the cabin with an antibac wipe either.

 

I mean if you do this, you must do it everywhere, all the time.  It just isn't feasible.

Well it's funny you say that, but we hardly ever caught colds or flu and there must have been many passengers on the aircraft with it.   Yes, our immune systems were really good.  What we did get was some nasty tropical stomach bugs.   One of mine had to be sent to the School of Tropical Medicine before they found out what it was!!

 

All this anti baccing that people do at home has been proven not to help a child's immunity.  You need to be exposed to bugs to develop an immune system.  They say having a dog in the home is very good for kids.

Lot of evidence around regarding building up immunity during childhood. I was born and lived on a farm and have never had foot and mouth, scrapie, mastitis or swine flu so there must be summat in it. However it is no excuse for dirty scrotes not washing their hands when they have been to the toilet.

Darn pit there were no toilets or wash basins come to that.

Always remember going to the outside toilet in my Aunt's terrace house. Cold, no washbasin, spiders, paper squares on a bit of wire. We knew how to live!! Never complain now.

Always remember going to the outside toilet in my house, I always looked forward to the cool damp weather then as the squares of paper were softer when they were damp. Much better than the izal bog roll at school. It was much better as tracing paper though, so I guess every cloud has a silver lining.

We were posh. My grandparents were fruit merchants so we had the blue tissue wrapping from the oranges on a spike. Nice and soft but left a blue dye. 

 

Every time we visited we used to take my granny toilet rolls!

Do you know, when you read some of these posts about anti bac  anti this and that, you may be wondering how we survived after childhood.    I'm sure the same people don't wash their hands now than they ever did.

It remember that it was also was handy to use as tracing paper for homework. Try using Andrex for that.
