That's the net cost to get Voom with 10% discount for 7 nights last night (after midnight) ... wait until after 12 tonight, will be for 6 nights only.  The other option is by the day only (for 24 hours)

Awesome Live MKing! I am late to this party but really like your reports from NCL in the past, so glad to see your report from Royal! Also like the wifi speed reports and locations. Enjoy the rest of the cruise and I will be following from here on out! Thanks for the effort I know these take.

Thanks for the (live) review.  Will be on the similar itinerary in 2 weeks.  Same ports, except our sea days will be 2,5,9.

Esp thanks for the Portland photos.  Wife and I are researching places for lunch - we each want lobster (not a lobster roll tho, haha).

Continue to have fun 🙂

Almost 80 minutes after we left Portland, everyone's iPhone and smartphone has lost their 4G LTE and 5G land cellular signal, lucky me still have 5G signal and hotspot tethering still going ... sitting in Windjammer, not crowded at prime dinner time.

When signal is gone, will go to & switch GigSky data sim.

GPS on CruiseMapper & Windy forecast looks good on crossing the Bay to Nova Scotia.

Station Zebra iOS has a trial plan for Canada, to be tested on Sunday … someone has to be do it and brave it on Cellular at Sea against Voom using X-Starlink

Tech geeks only - Samsung DeX connected, basically - a matter of adapting Galaxy S24's output HDMI signal to the matching optimal input Samsung TV resolution.

It's time to get out the Lenovo Chromebook to further "investigate" this 😆 😁 😊 since it should be easier to tweak the sub-settings to stream cast 😺

Caution/Advisory - disclaimer, do not try this unless you are ... serious things can happened 😅

That's S24's desktop in Windows-like mode.

The possibilities, imagine 🤔

It's E311, Canadian Customs Declaration Form completion time, just received this ... placed on our bed as we return to the cabins.  Will have 2 to 3 hours to fill it out and turn them into our steward for collection.  Folks still out on shorex will have less time, especially if they have early dining time, with all abroad by 5:30 PM and sail at 6 PM.

Royal could've distributed this a day earlier, to give passengers more time to leisurely fill it out & sign them.

when i sail on other cruise lines to Canada, the Canada custom forms is delivered to the room on embarkation day day 1 and its part of the standard group papers like the compass, shoreex tickets and other papers. It odd that royal waits till like the last minute and expect guest to fill out it quickly. what if they are a long shore excursion and dont get back to the ship in time to drop it off?

I hate how the buffet closes at 830, thats very very early compare to other cruise lines that close the buffet around 930/10

I see that the Windjammer buffet ends at 8:30. Will you check out some late night snack options? 😅

Yes, madam ... our friend is "working" below the main deck, down those spiral staircase, at the machine "terminals" and should get his report in the morning.

If that's not good enough, I will take on the assignment tomorrow night but apparently, there is one and only one 24/7 option besides room service for a fee, for the convenience.
