Yes, the 18% gratuity is included. If you have to pay a little extra for a drink that is not included in the package, !8% is added to the cost difference eg if the cost difference is $5, you will be charged $5.90

Thank you!

You are right, the Premier package is the way to go, BUT if you are like me, and do NOT use some of the items listed under Premier, I would go for the Plus package myself. I didn't mind paying the $60 for the Premier package when we did the Regal in February, and even then I did not use everything that came with the package. Now that it has been raised to $90, I doing a LOT of thinking if this is worth it to me or not, as I still don't use several of those items listed.

@beshears  The Premier package was not $60 before the change.  Are you sure you didn’t have plus?  Premier was $80 prior to the change and is now $90.  Plus is still $60.

BamaVol, someone just posted to me about the "reserve seats," in the Premier package, and it is not as great as I thought it would be.

I am doing a mock booking on Regal Princess and I have this option: image.thumb.png.2251a8ccd8ffa2452547554e3de4cc41.png

Seems like the premier is the way to go as you seem to get much more with this package? Thoughts????

that's very expensive for a 7 night cruise. That's how much I pay for the entire cruise for the 3 of us. Is it some kind of a Royal Suite?

We’ve ended up skipping a few shows rather than deal with the crowds even arriving 30 minutes early. It was clear the remaining seats were singles or nonexistent.  I would pay to have a seat waiting for me up until 15 minutes before the show starts.  It doesn’t have to be in the best location.  I just want to arrive at the theater knowing I have 2 seats together.

For what it's worth, I was able to book dinner for all 7 nights for our cruise aboard the Sun Princess next May, without having to pay the full fare first by using the web-based app instead of my phone. I was able to get 5 of the 6 specialty restaurants I wanted at or near our desired time of 6 PM, the only one I didn't see was The Butcher's Block by Dario. Before anyone asks if we're Elite or booked a suite, the answer is no - I booked a Sanctuary balcony but I don't think that gives me any ability to book before the full fare is paid. Not sure if this is an oversight by the IT folks but if anyone wishes to make any dining reservations early I would certainly encourage it, as many time slots for our cruise were showing limited availability for the more popular places, unless you prefer bait AKA sushi.

We thought the Premier package was worth it. Much better drink selection and we like our premium spirits and wines. Liked the pictures (I wouldn't normally purchase). I actually won $25 in Princess prizes and of course the reserved seats and specialty dining are great (that is only true if you are able to book the times you want).  We ended up cancelling this cruise because we could not book the dining due to a glitch that has been going on with our medallion for the past 1 and 1/2 years and they can't seem to find the problem after numerous calls and waiting in lines at guest services. If and when we return to Princess, we will choose the premium package. We are trying out another cruise line and also doing our very first river cruise in the meantime.

Reserve seating is only for the production shows.  I have yet to have a problem getting two seats together, quite easily actually, 15-minutes before showtime.

I thought they changed it and the premiere package gives you Reserved Seating for all shows in the Theater?  Granted the production shows appear to be the ones that the theater fills up quite early.  On our last five cruises at the 30 minute mark prior to the production show, you could not find two seats together.

Nope. No change to the reserved seating portion. It's for the production shows. Not any of the other guest enterrtainment, etc.

We always did plus but we got an offer through the casino to bump our Sun Princess trip to premiere. The sun has so many specialty restaurants  that I was happy to get it and try it out. The reserved seating at production shows will be wonderful as well! I have a cruise with my daughter in February and we upgraded that one as well as she loves the Crown grill and Rudy’s as well.
