Taste is subjective and you are entitled to your opinion, but it is only that.

Saying it tastes good or bad is opinion.

Saying it uses prep methods, and meat amounts, similar to a cafeteria Reuben is just reality.

The 6oz of meat is pretty standard for deli Reubens. That is maybe half that. That isn't opinion or taste - it's weight on a scale.

Still just your opinion.

Sure ...

...and if you made it with ham and cheese on white bread, with no sauerkraut or corned beef it's still a Reuben... Because sandwich design is all just opinion.

If I call meat from a cow pork, well beef or pork is just opinion.

I mean - run mixed with coke is a martini, right? Just opinion.

I paid ~$148/night/person for everything (airfare, lodging, rental car, food. alcohol, entertainment) on my last Mexico land vacation - that was a private oceanfront villa with it's own pool, eating at restaurants.

I paid ~$301/night/person for everything (cruise fare, airfare, lodging, food, alcohol, entertainment) on my February cruise on Mardi Gras.

I paid ~ $411/night/person for everything (airfare, lodging, rental car, food. alcohol, entertainment) on my last Belize land vacation - that was an all-inclusive with a ~1500 square foot room ina private oceanfront villa with a pool shared between 6 rooms.

And I have never paid anywhere near $301 a night for any of the 25+ Carnival cruises I have been on.

No, that sandwich having less than 6oz of meat is objectively verifiable fact.

Preferring a real Reuben or a nosh size Reuben is opinion. The size difference is objective fact.

What is a real reuben? Google reuben sandwich recipe and you will find many. There is not only one, and many, a verifiable fact, do not state a minimum of 6 oz of chicken or any other meat.

Not a single sandwich on Carnival is frozen. If they are "premade" they are made before the deli is open that day and completed to order. We are talking about putting meat on bread. I stood waiting on my Cuban sandwich at the deli on the Liberty, (which the meat was pre-sliced and then she built the sandwich), watching the gentleman battering and fresh frying the chicken for the Buffalo chicken sandwich.

Never had a disgusting meal ever on Carnival.  I did have a Chicken Cordon Blue that was only chicken. Found it funny. Never said anything.  Still good. Never gone hungry and never will. I will also never spend my money with a company if I ever described it as disgusting. The person I refuse to acknowledge, has been pushing the same spill for what seems like years but they also seem to have more Carnival cruises booked every year than most of us. 🤷🏾‍♀️

Really? Not for your entire cruise trip?

Flights to the port, shuttle, cruise fare, alcohol, excursion, etc all combined?

Because that is what I'm including. The entire cost of everything for the trip - for all the listed trips.

Then I'm guessing you aren't flying to cruises or drinking much at all... Or you're a gambler getting extra cheap rooms.

If I could drive to a cruise ports, I could lop a good bit off ... but then, that is also true of all those land vacations.

It's at least 20 hours for me to get to one. I love the ocean, sucks that I live in Colorado.

But then again, spent 4 years in FL wheen I was young ad poor, rarely went to beach.

But you could drive. Plan ahead and you can fly on SWA for under $200pp rt. If you take 14 days cruises, very economical.

Haven't bought tickets in SWA lately?

They're generally more expensive than Delta/United/American from around here if you don't want half a dozen stops.

DTW-ORD mins out at about $280 pp before taxes and feed, and it'll be a 12 hour flight with a couple stops.

What cruise leaves from Chicago?

Frontier has a nonstop to MCO from $148. Under $200 to MIA. etc.

Is your $301 per person? For a 7 night cruise that's $4214. We fly to every cruise and have never been close to that apart from exotics like Europe. If you made me guess, our all in for a standard Miami 7 night might be around $3000+. I've included our cruise fare/expenses, our usual onboard spend, our excursions in essentially every port and our transportation including air/hotel. We get zero casino comps. We typically stay in an OV if anyone cares and we avoid holidays and summer.
