Thank you!

We booked our ceremony through an on-island coordinator, and rented the ships Steakhouse - all done independently of any Carnival wedding package. I used Groups to help with the Steakhouse booking. So, we had zero issues bringing our own photographer and it was the best decision we made other than getting married of course! It was worth every penny!

I've been meaning to post photos of our Caribbean Princess harborside wedding at the San Juan harbor and I just simply forgot! But hey, better late than never, so here are our pics. Hope they help someone to have an idea of what to expect when marrying on the Caribbean Princess.

I should mention that we had 50 guests, so our wedding had to be performed at one of the bars, the Explorers Lounge to be exact. Then we went to the Coral Dining room for lunch and from there to the Skywalker nightclub for a little dancing and cake cutting.

To us, it was an amazing experience, a beautiful wedding and we enjoyed it inmensely, as did our guests (who still talk about our wedding...) Enjoy!

Wedding bubbles!

Wedding menu... what a WONDERFUL surprise as it had our names printed. All of our guests got one, and my family took them as souvenirs of our wedding.

Our wedding cake. I brought the hounds (we have a Basset Hound), the ribbon and the sugar flowers. The top cake was the one included in the package. See my bouquet in the background?

Carnival Valor

We left Miami on the 29th and were married the next day at Key West.

All the pictures and the slideshow was done by the Carnival photographer... HE WAS JUST AMAZING!!!!

Ladies! Let's keep this thread going! Some of the links aren't active anymore (e.g. those OP in 2006), but quite a few are. BEAUTIFUL pictures to help us all keep our creative juices flowing :) Those of you recently married, if you wouldn't mind reposting your links here, I think that would be extremely helpful to us soon-to-be brides!

Oh, and here is the video I made - it is definitely not great quality but it sure beat paying for a videographer to come on the trip as well!

St Thomas, Emerald Beach- Fantasia weddings.

If you need help or advice... I'm your girl!!

Did you get married on the ship or off?

We have never cruised but want a beach wedding (just the two of us) and would LOVE to hear from someone who has experienced it.

We don't know whether its smarter to go through carnival or another route.

St Thomas is where we are looking, too!
