Hyatt Long Beach

Stayed there in late March. We enjoyed it a great deal. We walked to the Queen Mary from there (about 30 minutes) and also to the Aquarium (about 10 minutes) and to the downtown area which was also relatively close. Also many shops and restaurants close by. We would stay there again.

We stayed pre-cruise in January and it was a lovely property. Everyone you came in contact with asked if you were having a good stay. The restaurant was pretty good and the prices ok for breakfast & lunch but very pricey for dinner. Right across the street is Outback, P.F. Chang's and another I don't remember the name of right now.

We walked to the Aquarium and spent the afternoon there. The Queen Mary is definitly walkable. Depending on the time of year, there are whale watching boat rides and harbor rides available. It is a very visitor friendly area.

I had left my coat in the bar and didn't realize it until we were ready to leave and they had it folded and wrapped in plastic in the lost and found. There is a concierge to arrange tours if you are so inclined. We would definitely stay there again.
