marybeach Posted September 25, 2006 #1 Share Posted September 25, 2006 The requirements have been relaxed just a bit. I've provided a link. http://www.tsa.gov/travelers/airtravel/prohibited/permitted-prohibited-items.shtm#
Krazy Kruizers Posted September 25, 2006 #2 Share Posted September 25, 2006 Even before this lastest incident, the only things we had in our carry-ons were medications and camera equipment -- so it really won't affect us. We will continue to pack the same way we have been doing since 9/11. But thanks for posting the link.
sail7seas Posted September 25, 2006 #3 Share Posted September 25, 2006 Thanks for the link. There's another thread a little lower down on the thread listing about this topic that people may wish to look at in addition to this one. I always have brought our toilet articles/my cosmetics in our carryons to be sure we had basic necessities with us if the airline 'misdirected' our luggage. I'm happy we will now be able to bring small sizes of some of those things with us.......just in case. Of course, we shall be fastidious about following the rules. HeatherInFlorida Posted September 25, 2006 #6 Share Posted September 25, 2006 Keep in mind it all has to fit in a 1-quart ziploc bag! Won't work for a cruise, but it's great for short trips!

I did not know that. Thanks. We're going to be in Florida for 3 days, so that will work for us. :)
willowtak Posted September 26, 2006 #8 Share Posted September 26, 2006 Does it seem a little strange to you that you can carry KY in your carry on luggage? It is so they can fit more people in the plane?

x lindsay x Posted September 26, 2006 #11 Share Posted September 26, 2006 YAY! I can bring on a bottle of water. Sure it has to be purchased IN the airport but that is better than relying on the airline to supply me with proper hydration.
ger_77 Posted September 27, 2006 #12 Share Posted September 27, 2006 The link doesn't say anything about my Hibachi bbq or my George Foreman grill, so I guess we can still bring them on with us! Sure makes our time onboard a cruise ship feel a lot more like home. :D Of course, DH can't bring along his tools - saws, crowbars, etc., but he's just going to have to deal with it. Smooth Sailing ! :) :) :)
