Obstructed view on Brilliance???

Recommended Posts

Please help: I'm looking at several options on a Med cruise on the Brilliance. Balcony Category E1: Stateroom #: 7108 states it is obstructed. Also Cat E3: Stateroom # 8154 says it is obstructed.

Has anyone been in either of these staterooms????

Thanks!

Sharon

Does it say obstructed or partially obstructed??? If it's only partially, then you have no worries! The cabin closer to the aft of the ship (8154) has a window washing ladder that hangs to the rear of the balcony. You'll notice it when you 1st walk onto the balcony, and then you'll forget it's there! That balcony should be wider than the others, too. It really obstructs nothing!!!!

Can't tell you about 7108!

Agree with CB, no real obstruction on 8154. We like these for the plexiglass aft-looking side "wall" which allow you to see not only the side view, but also a peak at the wake. The balcony is about 10-12" wider than the side balconies. Know nothing about 7108.

From looking at the deck plans, 7108 is just at the back edge of the hump on the elevator side. The size of the balcony is larger than normal, but the outcropping of the hump is what causes the "obstruction". It would appear that is only a slight obstruction at most. Looks like a good location.

What about the obstructed view on cabin 7556, Category E3 balcony? Anyone knows?
