What Happened that she had to go into a dry dock that caused a cruise to be cancelled?

Ongoing issues with a Engine / crankshaft problem (This has been going on since about May 2014!!, if not just about the whole of this year!) and a propeller shaft bearing issuge (Princess just found out about this issuge a few days ago).

Here are a couple of threads on it: http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=2048892 and http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=2074909

I can’t remember if I have posted this photo here before and searching for it does not help. Apologies if it has been posted before.

As we where heading back to Sydney after our 32 night cruises on the on the Pacific Pearl (we did a Back 2 Back, Taste of the Tasman + Tahitian Treasures) on our 2nd to last sea day in the morning (at 10am (ship time)) 27 July 2011 the ship announced that we where passing the Pacific Jewel so I ran out of the buffer to the top deck to take this photo

Here is the video I did as well:

And the other one is the AIDA Bella :

On starboard side of the ship you can see "Habitat 67" which was built as a pavilion for the "Expo 67"...yes it was back in 1967. Is is now a housing complex $$$$ for the fortunate here in Montreal.
