Senior Discounts from NY city and Bayoone NJ

I have reached the magic number of 55. We sail NCL often and also Carnival.

 

Can anyone suggest times of year or any discounts from the NY area

I could suggest also watching Royal Caribbean, dont they sail from NJ? They also have senior discounts.

 

I dont have a particular answer for you though. Most of the senior discounts will usually be about 2 months before the ship sails, with other last minute discounts if a ship is not selling well. We got on the Rhapsody this year for $349 plus tax with a senior discount.

We've gotten great 55+ discounts out of Bayonne in September both last year and this - right after the kiddies go back to school!

Usually the best prices out of NY are from Sept thru the beginning of Dec. Which also coincidentily is Hurricane Season. So there is a bit of a risk that you won't cruise your original itinerary. I like the longer cruises then so you get more days in warmer weather then a 6 or 7 day cruise.
