Venice docking

Can any one tell me where we normally dock in Venice. We have someone meeting us..Jim:)

If you go to website www.vtp.it and look at cruise ship schedules. It will show you which of the terminals the ship will dock at .

I was on the Pride in Venice late April, but to be honest, I have no idea the specific address of the pier. It was not the main cruise pier. Maybe others from that cruise can help, wripro or Denyse.... ;)

You should double check with SB. Some of the cruises will dock at the Commercial pier at Marghera because there are too many other ships in port. Send SB an email and find out about your specific dates.

We did dock at San Basilio in April. Or was it May? Anyway San Basilio is an easy walk from pretty much anywhere you want to go in Venice.

Its very convenient. Doesn't matter how many ships are in the main cruise terminal because Seabourn does not go there. Find the New Venice Hilton on a map and the Spirit is directly across from it. It is an easy walk from Piazza Roma which is where the bus station is. You can wander aimlessly as I did and get lost in Venice. Venice is the BEST place to get lost in.

the Spirit will dock at the commercial pier in Marghera on July 14. That is a fact.

xcantv will do well to check with SB before he tells anyone where to meet him.

The August 25 arrival is at San Basilio according to the Venice Port web site. The July14 does show the Marghera. Jim
