Rare Lois R Posted July 25, 2007 #27 Share Posted July 25, 2007 Danno, I am sure Don filled you in;) but X now has 2 ships under another logo...Azamara...2 much smaller vessels and they have their own board on CC too. Journey and Quest. And the first BIG VESSEL is coming into service at the end of 2008...Solstice. (Under the X logo). That honey pear soup is one of my alltime favorites too:D
Offtune Angel Posted July 26, 2007 #28 Share Posted July 26, 2007 Danno: So very nice to see you back and know that you & Jill & Jib are well. How is your mother doing? I'm sorry I never got a chance to actually see Quiet Resolve in person, but I still have her picture, right next to Jib's in our files. How far down the French River did you get? We'll look forward to seeing Gatekeeper offshore or in the local marinas. :D Happy Sailing! Terry:)
Danno Posted July 26, 2007 Author #29 Share Posted July 26, 2007 So very nice to see you back and know that you & Jill & Jib are well. How is your mother doing? Despite the efforts of our local health care people to kill her...she as completey recovered and is doing great!! I'm sorry I never got a chance to actually see Quiet Resolve in person, but I still have her picture, right next to Jib's in our files. QR are was a great boat...had we been able to stretch like her, a cruise ship, we would have happily kept her...but the full galley and shower on Gatekeeper are really nice luxuries. I REALLY don't like to "rough it". How far down the French River did you get? We tied up in a small cove around Gibralter (upper French) for the whole week...it was wonderful!! We'll look forward to seeing Gatekeeper offshore or in the local marinas. She'd sure look great anchored up in St.Lucia!! Dan
excitedofharpenden Posted July 26, 2007 #30 Share Posted July 26, 2007 Well Dan, almost as many posts as, but a third more "views" than the one about going topless or nude on a ship. Now what does that tell us? On second thoughts, don't answer that one:D Phil

Offtune Angel Posted July 26, 2007 #33 Share Posted July 26, 2007 Danno: That's wonderful news about your mother. I know what you mean about the health care(less) people, although we have been really lucky in the Midland area. Terry
