A friend an I have booked our first AK cruise on the Millennium. Our land tour begins in Anchorage on 8/24. Then on to Talkeetna, Denali, Fairbanks and onto Anchorage to begin our southbound cruise on 8/29. We arrive in Vancouver on 9/25 and plan to stay a few days to tour around.

Has anyone else booked this cruise?

Your ship leaves Seward Aug. 29 and arrives in Vancouver Sept. 25? Do you mean Sept. 5?

May 23rd on Infinity! Third cruise, second to Alaska, second on Celebrity!

I loved it so much the first time, just had to do it again! Since we live in the Seattle area, this could become an annual thing for us, and I don't know why we didn't do it sooner! (Oh, yeah, raising two kids...I forgot!);)

Have fun everyone!

We're on the southbound Diamond Princess June 14, with land tour starting on the 9th. Fourth cruise, my first time to Alaska. DH was stationed there when he was in the service so he's looking forward to seeing how much has changed. Thanks so much to all who have contributed info to these boards - it's been invaluable!

This is our first time to Alaska and we are taking our 14 year old Grandson. We'll be on the Infinity, June 20, 2008 r/t Seattle. We love Celebrity and this is our 9th cruise with them. We actually took took the Infinity to Hawaii. Hope are Grandson will meet lots of kids his age. Also does anyone know the best transportation from the Seattle Airport to downtown. That is the best for 3 people and lots of luggage.

We are cruising southbound on the Radiance fo the Seas leaving Seward June 27th. We will spend 6 days before the cruise doing our own tour in Alaska. This is our first trip to Alaska and look forward to it more and more as we see photos from other cruisers.

A cab will run you about $32, First Class Town Car service is $40, and Shuttle Express is somewhere in that range also. Where are you staying downtown? The Grayline bus service is only $14, and drops off at many of the larger downtown hotels.

Hope this helps! We'll be on Infinity about a month before you -- can't wait!

We'll be taking our 4th Alaska cruise in 2008. This time we are doing a b2b on the Veendam on June 13. They are actually selling this as a 14 day cruise at a substantial savings over booking two 7 day cruises.
