Group Fares

We will be a group of 16 flying from JFK to FCO and then VCE to JFK next Sept. Do any of the airlines have discounted group fares?

It won't help you for this itinerary but Northwest Airlines has a group discount.

pretty much any airline that flies the route (or has a partner that does) will work with you...i did this for 14 seats to hawaii...got a quote from 2 then played them off each other....got a real good deal....

 

so, call the airlines and ask for their group desk and see what happens...also, just look on the internet and see what the fare would be so you can see if you are getting a deal.

In general, the number for group rates is 10 passengers. Depending on the market and overall market conditions, you can even try with a couple less.

 

This is definitely a negotiated buy, so do your research and have a couple of options to work off each other.
