Little black dress!

I was in Macy's today and saw the cutest little black dress! I have no need for it right now, but thought I'd give everyone a "heads up", if anyone is looking for something really cute!

This is sleeveless, black velvet, with a crossed bustline and an A-shaped skirt. Would look GREAT on anyone size 8 or smaller!

I just thought it was perfect--sparkly jewelry and fancy heels, and 1 formal night is done!

cb, thanks for sharing. I am more than a size 8, but what you describe sounds like it would be good on many other sized women. I liked the one year where they said instead of black for the holidays, the big color was deep navy blue. I am always looking at clothes online. I will check out their site and see if they show anything. (I assume they have a site.....)

I so agree with you. The clothing of that era was so elegant and so feminine. I'm even a big fan of Lucille Ball's dresses. I loved Audrey Hepburn and Grace Kelly.

Truly, this was a "retro" designed dress! If I thought I had a place to wear it in the near future, I'd snap it up in a minute! Very figure-flattering!

size 8? Can't remember when I was ....oh more than 20 years ago

when I smoked I was a size 6.:eek:

Now I don't smoke and am a 14..oh well....think I am better

off this way:)

Cache has some amazing little black dresses. I bought one that screams Audrey Heburn.

 

I also got two evening gowns from Cache.

 

If you haven't been there give them a try.

I'd never heard of Cache before so I checked out their website. Nice dresses! More than I spend on "cruise only" dresses, though! :)
