woodmill100 Posted November 2, 2007 #1 Share Posted November 2, 2007 I will be pregnant on our cruise and don't want to have to spend cash on an outfit simply for the 2 formal nights on the ship. Can you tell me if the outfit in the link below will be ok for formal night (as at least I can wear this to work functions too!) Thanks http://www.isabellaoliver.com/io/Shop?DSP=30100&PCR=2:100:1010&IID=TP43 It is a jacket and trouser/pants set.

Pam in CA Posted November 2, 2007 #6 Share Posted November 2, 2007 This will be fine. You can even bring a white top to wear with the black pants. That would look nice too.

Druke I Posted November 2, 2007 #9 Share Posted November 2, 2007 Perfectly suitable for formal nights, in my opinion. I do agree that a white top might "liven" it up a bit.

mhugcat Posted November 2, 2007 #14 Share Posted November 2, 2007 It's a lovely outfit - wish I could have worn something like that when I was pregnant. Unfortunately I had bottom size of Brazil :D
Nylsor Posted November 2, 2007 #15 Share Posted November 2, 2007 What a lovely outfit. So good there are beautiful clothes for all you mums-to-be. Long time since I had to wear maternity clothes most of which resembled a flowered tent - yak ! Have a great cruise and make sure you relax! And congratulations.:)
kaseyoz Posted November 2, 2007 #16 Share Posted November 2, 2007 i agree it would be lovely and certainly one you could make use of again and mix and match. I hope you take the pants up though as they do look rather raggy on the model or is that the style these days:) :)

cruisetoscrap Posted November 3, 2007 #20 Share Posted November 3, 2007 I love the outfit you chose. If you want to go even less expensive try this one: http://www.oldnavy.com/browse/product.do?cid=5870&pid=507167&scid=507167002 It's really cheap but it wore great and washed so easily. I wore it for formal night on our last cruise and paired it with some big gold jewelry and great heals and felt very comfortable. It was my favorite outfit to wear to work too. I'd put on a different necklace and then a shawl and felt the best I could ;-)

Cruising Caribbean Posted November 5, 2007 #23 Share Posted November 5, 2007 flowered tent :) Amen to that! Flowered tent with a huge bow!
Nancyquilts Posted November 5, 2007 #24 Share Posted November 5, 2007 You will probably want to get flat-heeled shoes to go with that - easier on your back. Nancy
