pd52 Posted January 4, 2008 #1 Share Posted January 4, 2008 OK, we're getting ready to start packing next week for 1/12 cruise.... Love the boards, but you gotta love some of the comments, so with that in mind, this is my current list: 1) 2 cases of assorted soda 2) 2 cases of water 3) case of smuggled wine and booze 4) Cooler for room to keep beverages cold 5) Pillows for bed 6) Coffee pot and 2 lbs of coffee 7) Lounge chair for balcony 8) trash bags for waste baskets 9) case of $$ for all the extra's that I will be dinged for 10) One long sleeve dress shirt so I don't get deprived of formal night food and after packing all of this, hopefully, have room for 2 t shirts, 2 shorts, 2 swimsuits to enjoy the cruise !!!!!!!!!!!!! Could you amagine what the porters would do if you showed up with this!!! Have some fun with it...feel free to add to the list, I wouldn't want to forget anything!!!!!!! GraySkyMorning Posted January 4, 2008 #15 Share Posted January 4, 2008  You're gonna wear that long sleeved dress shirt on it's own!? Hey that would be something, wouldn't it? They say you gotta wear nice pants in the dining room, no shorts... But what about no pants at all!? Oh, and don't forget the speedo.

WISH84 Posted January 5, 2008 #17 Share Posted January 5, 2008 I love the OP's humor. I actually had something similar typed up because we leave on the 13th and then didn't post it because I just knew someone, somewhere was going to get mad. I applaud your humor! pd52 Posted January 5, 2008 Author #18 Share Posted January 5, 2008 And don't forget your own salad dressing in case you don't like any that the chef makes! Can't you just picture the dining room, it's formal night, your at the table and the salad comes.....you reach down and get out the Kraft 1000 Island, it's almost empty, and you start squeezing. It starts making that "empty" noise....do you think you might get a few looks !!!!!!!!! Love it.....

Desert star Posted January 5, 2008 #22 Share Posted January 5, 2008 Ooooh, also bringing IV bag so that I dont have to get up from the lounge chair to get a drink. :p Better yet you could bring one of those hard hats that hold a can of beer on each side with a tube straw coming out of each. Now that would save some time.;)
beth4652 Posted January 5, 2008 #23 Share Posted January 5, 2008 You certainly can't live without your clothes steamer. Also, in case you haven't read the threads, you can't safely drink out of the glasses in your cabin, so you'll need to bring some Dixie or Solo cups.
