VISTAMAR sailed into Barbados today

and I was there to catch her with the camera!

See three nice pics of her at URL..

http://www.angelfire.com/wizard2/cncisland/bigships/vistamar.html

This is just one webpage of mine

in a cluster of Smaller Ships webpages to be found at..

http://www.angelfire.com/wizard2/cncisland/bigships/smaller.html

which is (in turn) part of my larger Cruise Ships visiting Barbados website at

http://www.angelfire.com/wizard2/cncisland/bigships/btown.html

but I thought you might be more interested in pics

of the smaller, less common ships to visit my shores.

Hope you like what you see.

David Hunt

Barbados.

Enjoyed all your photos of ships, including small ships - thanks.

Also revisited your beautiful photos of Barbados,

which we will be visiting for the first time in November.

Glad you liked my pics.

See you here on the island, come November then.:)

Barbados is the island we are most looking forward to visiting and have warmest feelings about, because of our shared history of cricket and the great cricketers of the past from the West Indies.

I remember getting a cab in New York once and as soon as the driver recognised my accent, he talked about cricket all the way into Manhattan. It was obvious he missed cricket and his homeland.

Really great pics, aplmac!!!

Druke I: Actually, Discovery is not the old Pacific Princess. Discovery is the old Island Princess, which was also used on the show occasionally.

The former Pacific Princess is now called Pacific and operated by CVC in Brazil (during the Southern summer) and by Quail Cruises in Spain (during the Northern summer).

We have just returned from a med cruise with M/V Pacific and it was great ... I've published a member review here at CC.

MARCO POLO sailed in yesterday - under cover of near-darkness

but I managed to get a few marginal-quality pics of her.

They aren't the sharpest, I'm afraid

but hopefully the lighting and mood will make up for that..
